CNC Machinist

In this role, you will be responsible for setting up and operating CNC mills and lathes to produce high-quality components. • Set up and operate CNC mills (3-4 axis VMC and 5+ axis VMC) and CNC lathes (5+ axis).
• Utilize G-Code and M-Code programming for machine operations.
• Perform machine setups for production runs, ensuring optimal efficiency and quality.
• Work with CNC Swiss lathes and other advanced machining equipment.
• Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshooting on machines to ensure continuous operation.
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to optimize machining processes.
• Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Inspect finished products for quality and precision, making adjustments as necessary.

• Proven experience as a CNC Machinist with a strong understanding of CNC tooling.
• Proficiency in G-Code and M-Code programming.
• Experience with machine setups for production runs.
• Hands-on experience with CNC mills (3-4 axis and 5+ axis) and CNC lathes (5+ axis).
• Familiarity with machine brands such as Haas, Okuma, Fanuc, Mazak, Star, Citizen, Tsugami, DMG Mori Seiki, and Doosan.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Salary info:

$25 - $31 / hr
