The Bilingual Customer Retention Specialist at Balance Staffing-Call Center is responsible for retaining current customers of Globe Life by speaking with existing policyholders to resell the benefits of life insurance. Qualifications

Required

  • 1+ years of work experience in a high volume contact center environment, receptionist role, or a role in which they commonly took calls on a daily basis
  • 6+ months of experience in Retention, OR Sales, OR Collections
  • 18 years of age or older
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Reliable internet connection (Minimum of 20 Download and 20 Upload internet speed and must be a hard-wired connection)
  • Must have a smartphone to access VPN
  • Not able to hire any candidates who are licensed in life and/or health and plan on working for another insurance agency outside of this position
  • For safety reasons - It is required that you have or are willing to obtain a fire extinguisher to keep in your home
  • Basic Computer Knowledge/Skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication
  • Minimum typing requirement of 30 wpm
  • Superior customer service skills required – friendly, efficient, good listener
  • Proficient use of the computer, keyboard functions and Microsoft Office
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Excellent organization and time management skills
  • Must be detail-oriented

Overview:
The Retention Specialists' main purpose is to retain current customers of Globe Life. You will speak with existing policyholders and try to resell the benefits of why it is important to have life insurance.

  • Call Center Environment Position - Need to be comfortable handling high volume calls on a daily basis - Dependent on the volume but on average around 90+ calls per day - Mixture of both inbound and outbound calls
  • Heavy phone contact with existing policyholders who are wanting to cancel their policy
  • Trying to explain and resell the benefits of why it is important to have life insurance
  • Services cancellation requests
  • Ensure customer needs are met on every interaction
  • Maintain department standards for number of calls, average handle and time management

Requirements:

  • 1+ years of work experience in a high volume contact center environment, receptionist role, -OR- a role in which they commonly took calls on a daily basis (Strict Requirement)
  • 6+ months of experience in Retention, OR Sales, OR Collections
  • 18 years of age or older
  • High School Diploma or equivalent

Job Type:

Location:

  • Work From Home
  • Nationwide (Not Including Houston, TX, Miami, FL New York, California, Hawaii, Washington, Washington D.C., New Jersey, Vermont, New Mexico, North Dakota, South Dakota, Maine, and Wyoming)

Training Schedule (Remote):

  • Full-time & Part-time schedules available
  • 100% Attendance Policy during training (No time off allowed during training - Missing time during training could potentially result in termination)

Post-training Schedule (Remote):

  • Full-time & Part-time schedules available

Pay:

  • Eligible for an additional $1/hr IF Bilingual in Spanish (must pass a bilingual assessment test to qualify)

  • Employees get paid biweekly

Bonus Pay (Differs based upon campaign):

  • Eligible to earn “prorated commission” of up to an additional $6/hr based upon performance of how many policies are conserved

Equipment:

  • Will be provided

    • Will be sent via FedEx and will include a dual monitor, headset, keyboard, mouse, and a camera for virtual meetings

Benefits:

  • Full time employees Only are eligible for benefits after 30 days and fully invested in the pension for life with 5 years of service
