DRIVER (part-time)

Flyspace Productions is a full-service, woman-owned event management and production company. We produce some of the largest festivals and live events in the region, in addition to numerous private, corporate, and community events.

We are seeking a part-time Driver to work across our teams. This position has the option for part time to full time transition. This role is responsible for transporting a variety of equipment to and from our warehouse for events and programs. In this role, you will be provided with a company owned vehicle to conduct all duties as directed. A valid Motor Vehicle Record will be kept on file for this position.

Job Responsibilities and Requirements:

• Operate company owned vehicles to transport equipment to and from the warehouse.
• Assist with maintenance, upkeep, and vehicle repairs.
• Assist with loading and unloading equipment.
• Assist with the set up and tear down of tow behind equipment.
• Assist with facilities or warehouse duties, as requested.
• Operate heavy equipment as assigned, including as forklifts, aerial lifts, and loaders.
• Safely load and secure loads in and on vehicles.
• Stay up to date on all safety trainings and safety practices.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Two (2) + years of experience operating vehicles trucks or large vehicles and/or towing.
• Valid driver’s license required and the ability to safely operate a company owned vehicle(s).
• Ability to tow a trailer and operate a larger vehicles, such as a truck, is a plus.
• Must be able to pass a DOT Medical examination. A copy of the valid certification must be kept on file by the company.
• CDL-A license is strongly preferred.
• Ability to drive a manual stick shift is strongly preferred.
• Must be capable of safely and competently operating a variety of company owned vehicles including cargo and passenger vans, pick-up trucks, and box trucks.
• Must be able to tow box trailers up to 26' with a pick-up truck.
• Must be able to follow directions and navigate to locations throughout the area.
• Overnight travel required occasionally.
• Evening, weekend, or holiday hours are required, as needed.
• Positions will be required to lift, push, pull, and carry up to fifty (50) pounds on a regular basis.
• Physical requirements include the use of hands and feet to operate standard vehicles, must speak and understand English, must be able to lift and carry.
• Must adhere to company policy regarding Child Protective Services Law requirements and valid clearances must be kept on file by the Company

This is a part-time, non-exempt position. Flyspace provides for a competitive pay range that is commensurate with experience.
