Job Description

The Lead Caregiver provides crucial support to ensure our clients have the care they need if their regularly scheduled caregiver is sick or unavailable, and also ensures new clients are able to get care started without delay. In addition to providing care to clients, the Lead Caregiver assists with on-the-job training and peer mentoring and development of new members of our care team.

The Lead Caregiver is expected be available to work weekdays and fill in for open shifts during the week created by illness or turnover. Travel up to 45 minutes from residence is required. A valid driver's license, vehicle, and car insurance is a must.

Lead Caregivers are guaranteed pay for x hours a day at minimum even if they are not placed on shifts provided, and we ask that they accept all shifts offered during the agreed upon time frames discussed above. Any refusal to take a shift on agreed upon days can result in loss of guaranteed hours.

Key Responsibilities

Caregiving:
