  • Support Software dongle license generation for partners in EU and APAC regions.
  • Use company produced software tools to provide solutions on site or remotely as per partner requirements.
  • Use Salesforce to handle and track cases.
  • Answer calls in first line support.
  • Escalate calls when required.
  • Provide commonly requested supporting documents and information.
  • Provide product specific training for constant personal professional development.

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical/electronic or relevant experience in fire or security industry
  • Previous fire detection industry experience within Simplex or Auto call is an advantage
  • Working knowledge of fire detection and voice alarm design system
  • Good verbal and written command of the English language
  • Ability to work under own direction with personal responsibility
  • General awareness of current industry trends
  • Solid business communication skills
  • Ability to identify need for and develop processes and supporting materials
  • Well-versed in MS Office, Salesforce, in company own or 3rd party diagnostics tools

Preferred

  • Understanding of and the application of NFPA and UL standards

What you will do

The position of level 1 fire detection technical support reports to the regional supervisor. You will be based remotely, working as part of a larger support team.

You will be in direct contact with system partners, commissioning engineers and end-users. As a member of the technical support level, you will be expected to answer calls, escalate calls when needed, provide installation information and other commonly requested documents, to triage issues for other level 2/3 support engineers.

How you will do it

  • As level 1 technical support, you will provide product support information to North American, direct and indirect partners. You will support Sofware dongle license generation for our partners in EU and APAC regions. You will do this using company produced software tools to provide solution on site or remotely as per partner requirements.

  • Use of Salesforce to handle and track cases.

  • Answer calls in first line support.

What we look for

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical/electronic or relevant experience in fire or security industry

  • Previous fire detection industry within Simplex or Auto call is an advantage but not essential.

  • Working knowledge of fire detection and voice alarm design system is an advantage.
