We are seeking an Assistant Manager to join our team, starting off by working at both locations to learn all aspects of selling paint and servicing both professional painters and retail customers. Responsibilities
- Assist customers in store with finding what they need and making recommendations for the right product for their job
- Learn how to use our Point of Sales System
- Learn how to use our Paint Tinting Machines and how to custom tint paint to what a customer wants
- Learn about the different products that we sell and how they are used
- Make sure that showroom shelves are stocked and organized
- Help maintain a clean and healthy work environment
- Break down and check in orders when they arrive from our manufacturers (may involve hand unloading from back of a truck trailer)
- Communicate when products need to be ordered
- Learn the daily procedures and responsibilities for operating the store
- Opening and Closing Store Procedures
- Care and Maintenance of Equipment
- Assist with local deliveries on an as needed basis
Qualifications
Required
- High school diploma/GED
- Previous Paint Store Experience is preferred
- Comfortable using computers
- Excellent communication and listening skills
- Ability to handle a physical work load (lifting up to 60 lbs)
- Ability to work well under pressure
- Outgoing personality
- Clean Driving Record
