  • Practice all rules and regulations pertaining to radiation safety, reducing personal and patient exposure to ALARA.
  • Produce quality images in a complete, accurate, and timely manner.
  • Prepare patient for exam, providing information and instruction regarding the procedure.
  • Respond to patient and/or family's physical and emotional needs.
  • Assist the patient during exam and position the patient.

Qualifications

Required

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Registered Technologist, Radiology - R.T. (R) (ARRT)

Preferred

  • Bone Density certification within 6 months of hire, if applicable to entity

  • Registered Technologist, Radiology - R.T. (R) (ARRT) Current Basic Life Support from American Heart Association Bone Density certification preferred within 6 months of hire, if applicable to entity
