Qualifications

Required

  • Degree preferably in Business Administration or related discipline
  • A minimum of 5 years’ working experience in office administration
  • Experience in accounting and knowledge of accounts payable, including Federal/State payroll withholding taxes
  • Good command of spoken and written English
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with good teamwork
  • Pleasant personality, independent, well-organised and self-motivated

Preferred

  • Some experience in marketing
  • Proficiency in Chinese

The Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC) is Hong Kong’s statutory body for promoting Hong Kong’s trade with the world. Its New York Regional Office is inviting applications for the following position:


Assistant Administration Manager (on-site position at our New York office)


Job Responsibilities

A) Accounting duties:

  • to ensure payments and journal entries are in accordance with corporate guidelines

B) Regional administrative duties:

  • Semi-annual filing of the Foreign Agents Registration Act

C) General administrative and office managerial duties of NYO and HK Centre. (includes working with building maintenance and third-party service providers to keep the building operational)

Remuneration and Benefits

Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience in the range of USD54,400 – 71,400 p.a. Competitive compensation package will be offered to the right candidate.
