Experience working with pediatric patients is a plus
Strong patient care skills and ability to establish rapport with patients
Proficiency in conducting patient assessments and developing treatment plans

Preferred

Experience in School, acute care, or ICU, or critical care settings
Experience with online teaching and pedagogy
Commitment to maintain currency in the discipline, including use of advanced technology required in the discipline

Certifications:

Possession and maintenance of a current, unrestricted license issued by the California Board of Occupational Therapy.
Possession and maintenance of a valid California driver’s license.
Participate in professional/volunteer organizations which include membership in state association Occupational Therapy Association of California (OTAC) and American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA).

Mandatory Experience:

Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Speech Language Pathologist Assistant
Experience in School, acute care, or ICU, or critical care settings preferred
Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology
Experience working with pediatric patients is a plus.
