Responsibilities

  • Managing, coordinating, and administering a group of projects or one major project from conceptual stages through all phases.
  • Overall performance of the project team and leading in reporting and ensuring project completion within budget, schedule, and in conformance with specifications.
  • Reviewing contracts, scope documents, and available data for the project, and establishing schedules and budgets.
  • Leadership initiative in working with internal team members and client departments to successfully manage projects.
  • Providing an integrated project team approach in working with designers, contractors, and governing agencies.
  • Reviewing and commenting on design submissions, change orders, and contracts/sub-contracts.
  • Reviewing comments received from governing agencies and coordinating timely resolutions.
  • Proactively monitoring critical project milestone dependencies and tracking actions that may result in risks.
  • Reviewing project key performance indicators and forecasting modifications to schedules, cost estimates, and financial reports.
  • Coordinating communications, stakeholder contacts, and maintaining good working relationships.
  • Monitoring and controlling contractual commitments to ensure work is in accordance with specifications and terms of the contracts.
  • Conducting project coordination and client meetings to review progress and discuss upcoming work.
  • Working with stakeholders to negotiate and resolve conflicts, disputes, and potential claims on behalf of the client.
  • Leading a construction management team to deliver capital construction projects for US Federal Government clients.

Qualifications

Required

  • BA/BS degree
  • 10 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
  • Experience in similar role on programs valued over $5M
  • Experience in with Federal Contacts/Programs
  • CCM, PE, RA certification
  • 15+ years of experience + Federal experience

This full-time role will be responsible for directing, managing, and monitoring the team to resolve challenges to meet client expectations. The role will work closely with the client on a day-to-day basis to proactively meet the client's needs. While this is a remote position, the Contract/Project Executive will need to attend major meetings and conduct occasional site visits. This position is contingent on a future client win and client approval.This person will be responsible for but not limited to the following:Responsible for managing, coordinating, and administering a group of projects or one major project from conceptual stages through all phases of the projects, with the assistance of the project team.Responsible for overall performance of the project team and takes the lead in reporting and ensuring project completion within budget, schedule and in conformance with specifications.Reviews contracts, scope documents, and available data for the project, and establishes schedules and budgets for compliance with project scope requirements and contract obligations.Takes leadership initiative in working with internal team members, and client departments including cost/scheduling, procurement, quality assurance, construction, contracts, legal, labor relations, finance, accounting and other services and departments as required to successfully manage projects.Provides an integrated project team approach in working with designers, contractors and governing agencies.Reviews and comments on design submissions, change orders, and contracts/sub-contracts, and represent the client interests to ensure control of and validate change orders are current, fair and efficiently processed.Reviews comments received from governing agencies on behalf of the client and coordinates timely resolutions.Responsible to proactively monitor critical project milestone dependencies, and track actions which may result in risks to critical project milestones.- Reviews project key performance indicators and forecasts any modifications to schedules, cost estimates, and financial reports, and effectively reconciles risks to commitments that may exceed assigned schedules and budgets.Coordinates communications, stakeholder contacts and maintains good working relationships.Monitors and controls contractual commitments to assure work being performed is in accordancewith the specifications and terms of the contracts.Reviews builder submittals and RFI documents, and provides field surveillance to ensure specified quality of design.Conducts project coordination and client meetings as necessary to review progress and discuss upcoming work.Works with stakeholders to negotiate and resolve conflicts, disputes, and potential claims on behalf of the client.Responsible for leading a construction management team to deliver capital construction projects for US Federal Government clients.QualificationsMinimum RequirementsBA/BS + 10 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or educationPreferred RequirementsBachelors Degree, PMP , experience in similar role on programs valued >$5M., experience in with Federal Contacts/Programs, CCM, PE, RA15+ Years of Experience + Federal experienceAdditional InformationSponsorship is not available for this position.Relocation is not available for this position.About AECOMAECOM is proud to offer a comprehensive benefits program to meet the diverse needs of our employees.
