The Forklift Technician/Mechanic at Lift Power Inc is responsible for diagnosing, servicing, and repairing forklift trucks for existing and new accounts. Responsibilities

  • Diagnose, service, and repair forklift trucks for existing and new accounts
  • Conduct tests and resolve problems
  • Establish service by studying system requirements, ordering and gathering components and parts, and completing installations
  • Maintain rapport with customers by examining complaints, identifying solutions, and suggesting improved methods and techniques
  • Keep personal and company equipment operating by following operating instructions, troubleshooting breakdowns, maintaining supplies, performing preventative maintenance, and calling in repairs
  • Document service and installation actions by completing forms, reports, and logs

Qualifications

Required

  • Knowledge of internal combustion engines (Gas, LPG, and Diesel)
  • Basic understanding of electricity and hydraulics
  • Equipment Maintenance
  • Ability to analyze information
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Clear motor vehicle report
  • Ability to work independently and as a team
