The CT Technician at Dignity Health - St. Bernardine Medical Center performs diagnostic Computerized Tomography procedures under the direct supervision of the Technical Supervisor, Charge Technologist, Director of Imaging, and indirect supervision from the Imaging Medical Director. Responsibilities
- Performs diagnostic Computerized tomography procedures according to established standards and department policies.
- Prepares diagnostic CT procedures for interpretation in accordance with established department policies and procedures.
- Performs a variety of other duties including scheduling procedures, answering telephones, and interacting with other departmental and hospital employees.
- Requires the full understanding and active participation in fulfilling the Mission of St. Bernardine Medical Center.
- Expected to demonstrate behavior consistent with the Core Values.
- Supports St. Bernardine Medical Center's strategic plan and the goals and direction of the quality improvement/process improvement activities.
Qualifications
Required
- One year experience as a Radiologic Technologist in a hospital setting or one year experience as a CT Technologist.
- Graduate of school of Radiologic Technology
- American Registry of Radiologic Technology license (A.R.R.T)
- Computed Tomography (CT) certification
- California Radiology Technology license (C.R.T)
- BLS certification
Preferred
- One year experience as a CT Technologist in a hospital setting
- Cardiac CT experience
- CT guided procedure experience

**Qualifications**
+ One year experience as a Radiologic Technologist is a hospital setting or one year experience as a CT Technologist required.
+ One year experience as a CT Technologist in a hospital settering preferred.
+ Cardiac CT and CT guided procedure experience preferred.
+ Graduate of school of Radiologic Technology
+ American Registry of Radiologic Technology license (A.R.R.T)
+ Computed Tomography (CT)
+ California Radiology Technology license (C.R.T)
+ BLS
+ CT License within 12 months of employment in the position
**Pay Range**
$53.20 - $53.20 /hour
