We are offering an opportunity for a Technical Systems Analyst in the automotive industry, based in Torrance, CA for a long term, multi-year assignment.
The role involves a hybrid work type with the ability to work on-site when required.
This Technical Systems Analyst will be perform heavy gap analysis on system written in .NET. The ideal candidate will have a development background to be able to understand the code.
The Technical System Analyst will need to analyze the application system, understand how it was written, understand compliance and security, and then identify any performance gaps.
The client may ultimately move this system to the cloud, but that will all be decided down the road once all this analysis has been completed.
Good communication and documentation skills needed for this role and will be working alongside a PM and the current App Owner.

Daily Tasks Performed:
Code Analysis, Security Analysis, Infrastructure Analysis, Performance Analysis
Comprehensive GAP Analysis:
Thoroughly identify and document gaps in code (.NET), security, infrastructure, and performance.
Provide actionable recommendations to address identified gaps (e.g. Cloud solutions such as AWS or Microsoft Azure)
Clear Scope of Work:
Define a detailed and realistic scope of work based on the GAP analysis.
Ensure all stakeholders understand and agree on the scope.
Effective Communication:
Regularly update stakeholders on progress and findings.
Present complex technical information in an accessible manner.
Timely Delivery:
Complete the GAP analysis and scope definition within the agreed timeline.
Ensure all deliverables meet the quality standards set by the project.
Stakeholder Satisfaction:
Achieve buy-in from all stakeholders on the proposed solutions.
Ensure the solutions align with the overall business objectives and project goals.
Requirements
Ability to identify gaps and inefficiencies in existing systems.
Strong problem-solving skills to propose effective solutions.
Excellent written and verbal communication to document findings and present them to stakeholders.
Ability to translate technical jargon into understandable terms for non-technical team members.
Experience with project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum).
