  • Responsible for testing, evaluating, reviewing, repairing and disposing of IT equipment.

Qualifications

Required

  • Must be a U.S. citizen or national.
  • Must be suitable for Federal employment.
  • Must be registered for Selective Service if applicable.
  • Experience in IT-related experience demonstrating Attention to Detail, Customer Service, Oral Communication, and Problem Solving.
  • Experience in performing a wide range of desktop support services, including user account management, hardware inventory control, computer warranty repairs, and hardware decommissioning and disposal.
  • Experience in providing desktop and network support for events (both onsite and offsite).
  • Experience in managing IT-focused training for newly onboarded personnel.
  • Experience in providing customer and operational support for complex technical problems and issues.

Preferred

  • Completion of a Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree in a related major field of study.
  • 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to a Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree in computer science, engineering, information science, information systems management, mathematics, operations research, statistics, or technology management.
  • Degree that provided a minimum of 24 semester hours in one or more of the fields identified above and required the development or adaptation of applications, systems or networks.

Responsibilities The United States Holocaust Memorial Museum is a federally chartered, nonpartisan institution that was created by the US Congress to serve as America's national memorial to the victims of the Holocaust and an educational institution dedicated to the history and lessons of the Holocaust.
