Full Job Description

Summary As an Administrative Officer at the GS-0341-14, you will be part of Workforce Policy and Innovation, Office of Personnel Management. If selected, you will be responsible for providing oversight and direction to the staff and, as the technical expert responsible for providing authoritative guidance and assistance to managers, supervisors, and employees on a variety of program areas. Responsibilities Lead organization coordinator for the OPM HR Payroll system to include timesheet review and approval, base schedule creation, task group oversight, labor code creation and oversight, telework and remote agreements. Lead organization coordinator for performance management to include oversight and coordination of performance plans, quarterly reviews, annual reviews in OPM HR Performance Management System. Obtain and maintain a government Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) certification and serve in that role when requested by the OPM Contracting Officer. Requirements Conditions of Employment Must be a U.S. Citizen or National Males born after 12-31-59 must be registered for Selective Service Suitable for Federal employment, determined by a background investigation May be required to successfully complete a probationary period This position is not eligible for inclusion in a bargaining unit Qualifications For the GS 14: You must have one full-time year (52 weeks) of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13 grade level in the Federal service (or equivalent) performing ALL of the following duties: 1) providing advice to senior leadership in the planning and execution of organizational goals and management priorities; 2) managing administrative functions to include budget, finance, contracts, travel, or HR procedures (ie performance management/workforce/succession planning); 3) collaborating, coordinating, or negotiating with internal and external stakeholders on behalf of senior leadership. Merit promotion applicants must meet the time-in-grade requirement as defined in 5 CFR 300, Subpart F. One year at the GS-13 level is required to meet the time-in-grade requirements for the GS-14 level. You must meet all qualification and eligibility requirements within 30 days of the closing date of this announcement.
