Azure Architect

Job Description

Insight Global is seeking an Azure Architect for one of our clients who specializes in the manufacturing and delivery of high tech, food service equipment. Their focus is on delivering an extraordinary customer experience through innovative technologies, which simplify the parts research, and purchasing process. This role will have the ability to sit fully remote but required to work east coast or central time hours.

In this role you will be joining a small team of about 5 individuals and be the sole Azure Architect on the team. Our client currently has multiple initiatives going on, and we are looking for someone who knows how and what to prioritize in order for them to go from on prem to in the cloud with Azure. You will be responsible for designing the overall architecture, the migration plan from on prem to Azure cloud, designing landing zones to assist with where our client is with their current infrastructure and make sure they are in a good place moving forward, as well as designing and helping build the infrastructure components in order to do so. Our client has about 50-60 servers mainly windows based, some Linux, but will require a combination of lift and shift migrations as and refactoring workloads.

Additional responsibilities will include:

- Building, configuring and troubleshooting AVDs

- Designing and creating hub and spoke typology

- Working with cloud adoption frameworks, well architected frameworks and zero trust

- Designing and configuring conditional access policies

- Designing, configuring, and integrating SSO, oAuth, SAML, OIDC, with various IdPs

- Creating and configuring Enterprise Applications

- Creating and configuring App Registrations

Skills and Requirements

- 7+ years of experience as an Azure Architect

- 5+ years of experience with Azure Active Directory/Microsoft Entra

- 3+ years of experience building, designing and refactoring serverless infrastructure in Azure.

- 3+ years of experience migrating, creating and editing Bicep and ARM templates

- Experience migrating from on prem to Azure cloud.

- Azure Solutions Architect Certification - Experience with Microsoft Intune and M365 Defender

- Experience designing and building power automate workflows

- Experience administering exchange, OneDrive, SharePoint null
