\n**Position Summary:**
\n
\nSupervises, plans, coordinates and directs quality control program designed to ensure food safety consistent with established company and regulatory standards. Functions as a team member within the department and organization, as required, and performs any duty assigned to best serve the company
\n
\n**Position Responsibilities:**
\n
\n+ Supervise associates to include, but not limited to: staffing, training, coaching, performance management and problem resolution
\n
\n+ Manage and control an effective quality assurance program
\n
\n+ Assist with the monthly self-audit of the operation to determine the level of compliance with the good manufacturing practices (GMP), Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP), and company policies relating to food safety.
\n
\n+ Manage and control effective quality assurance/food safety procedures and practices.
\n
\n+ Ensure overall compliance with government food regulatory agencies and other applicable regulations, including state-specific regulatory programs
\n
\n+ Manage and update the Food Safety Plan/ SQF program to ensure compliance with the most recent SQF standards
\n
\n+ Prepare the facility to successfully achieve and maintain SQF Status
\n
\n+ Performs other related duties as assigned.
