Maintenance Mechanic

**Aerotek is currently hiring for maintenance mechanics in the greater Jessup, MD area! Qualified candidates will be able to perform the following duties:**

**Job Description:**

+ Troubleshoot equipment and facility problems and perform immediate repairs

+ Perform prescribed preventive maintenance on equipment

+ Completes assigned work orders and interfaces with production personnel in troubleshooting or design improvements

+ Rebuild and fabricate parts as required

+ Assist in the installation of new equipment

+ Generate parts request to ensure adequate inventory

**Job Qualifications:**

+ Experienced in installation of bearings, sheaves, sprockets, gearboxes, chain, belts, motors

+ Basic Welding skills are a plus

+ Fabrication skills preferred
