We are in search of a Certified Medical Coder to join our team. This role is fully remote, and offers a long-term, 7-month, contract employment opportunity. The position involves working remotely on a COC/SPD project, focusing on the development of coding for our benefit plans. The individual will be part of a team of certified coders and a few business analysts.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Identify appropriate codes for language used in benefit plans.

+ Review and verify coding accuracy with peers.

+ Lead discussions to finalize coding documents.

Requirements

Candidate Profile:

+ Certification: Must be a Certified Professional Coder with AAPC or AHIMA.

Skills:
