As the Team Leader of the Governance and Reporting team within the DDO First Line Risk capability at Edward Jones, you will lead a team of individual contributors and work closely with stakeholders to ensure the delivery of impactful outcomes. Responsibilities

  • Support Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) integration as the firm's Chief Risk Officer refines the ERM Framework foundations and programs.

  • Deliver insightful and actionable risk reporting for each division and the DDO organization.
  • Manage GRC Tool implementation and ongoing management for the DDO organization.
  • Manage a highly effective team by working on team members' career progression and providing regular feedback.
  • Create and maintain an annual team business plan.
  • Provide leadership with recommendations for enhancements to overall DDO risk execution and ERM Framework.
  • Identify areas of opportunity to increase DDO risk management acumen and understanding of ERM Framework.
  • Assist Business Owners in ensuring policies, standards, and procedures are consistent with ERM Framework.
  • Assist other DDO Risk teams with troubleshooting discrepancies in risk data.
  • Stay informed on financial services and risk industry educational/development opportunities.
  • Facilitate risk discussions with various stakeholders of all levels within the organization.
  • Engage in special projects aimed to mitigate high priority risks, as requested by DDO Risk leadership.
  • May lead or participate in 1st and 2nd LOD risk forums and share information with leadership across DDO.

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor's degree (business, finance or accounting preferred)
  • 7 years public accounting, internal audit, risk management, consulting, or internal control experience
  • Comprehensive knowledge of process analysis and control design techniques
  • SIE and Series 99 required within 89 days of start date (US)
  • Series 7 required within 12 months of start date (US)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft product suite and other software programs and databases

Preferred

  • Previous leadership experience
  • CPA, CIA, FRM, or other risk certification
  • Experience developing KRIs and/or other risk metrics

The Digital, Data, and Operations (DDO) organization at Edward Jones is the execution arm of the Firm, bringing the strategy of the enterprise to life. The DDO First Line Risk capability plays a critical role in executing a risk program that the organization finds to be inspirational. Through strategic thinking and cross-functional collaboration, youll continuously identify opportunities for operational efficiency and risk mitigation, supporting the firm and the DDO organization in its key objectives.



**What You'll Do:

As the Team Leader of the Governance and Reporting team within the DDO First Line Risk capability, you will lead a team of individual contributors and work in partnership with many stakeholders, including DDO and ERM leadership, to ensure delivery of the right outcomes while growing our impact. Key position specific responsibilities include:**

- Support Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) integration as the firm's Chief Risk Officer builds and refines the ERM Framework foundations and programs, including implementation and management of new ERM Framework foundations and programs within the DDO organization
- Implement and maintain a DDO Risk Governance Framework, including establishment of DDO Risk Governance Committee and supporting processes to create alignment, transparency, and visibility into DDO's top risks and their mitigation plans
- Deliver insightful and actionable risk reporting for each division Data, Digital, and Ops and the DDO organization; identify and escalate emerging risk concerns for key risks to DDO leadership through data analysis and risk reporting
- GRC Tool implementation and ongoing management for the DDO organization
- Manage a highly effective team by working with team members on their career progression through coaching/mentoring as well as regular feedback via performance reviews
- Creation and ongoing maintenance of an annual team business plan




Additional general risk management responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

- Provides leadership with recommendations for enhancements to overall DDO risk execution and ERM Framework foundations and programs
- Identifies areas of opportunity to increase DDO risk management acumen and understanding of ERM Framework foundations and programs

**Experience You Need:
**

- Bachelor's degree (business, finance or accounting preferred)
