Qualifications

Required

  • High school graduate or equivalent.
  • Six years of related work experience.
  • Complete the Basic Hygiene Equipment Operator Course, or equivalent.
  • Complete Advanced Military Maintenance School courses or civilian equivalent, as applicable.
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds.
  • In-depth knowledge of electrical circuitry, electrical principles and formulas, and their practical application to the equipment and systems repaired.
  • Ability to apply knowledge of wire color codes, symbols, layout sheets, wiring diagrams, schematics, technical orders, and manufacturer's specifications.
  • Thorough knowledge of the entire water treatment system and user requirements in order to locate problems and initiate corrective action.
  • Ability to read meters, gauges, charts, and experience in regulating water volume and performing treatment processes.
  • Possess a valid State Motor Vehicle Operator License.
  • Ability to comply with all established methods, safety standards, quality standards, and time schedules applicable to this position.
  • U.S. Citizen.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Common Access Card (CAC) and Base Access.
