Job Description:

This position will manage Production and Manufacturing Engineering as well as collaborate with other functional leads within Planning, Quality, Engineering and Program Management to ensure proper execution of necessary production work. This position will develop and implement policies, controls, and operating procedures for all planning, direction, and timely execution of production requirements in support of operational excellence. This position has the responsibility of supervising direct reports, providing work assignments, driving continuous improvement opportunities as well as manage capital projects. Finally, this position will lead and drive performance for the business as measured via Safety, Quality, Delivery and Financial targets.

Essential Functions:

+ Directs and coordinates production activities, through supervisory personnel.

+ Assigns program responsibilities to manufacturing engineers and monitors progress against program schedules. Will also have direct program responsibility for manufacturing engineering as necessary.

+ Leads daily production meeting with planning, quality, procurement and production.

+ Coordinates activities of department with other functional groups

+ Drives site-wide process improvement to support the needs of the business.
