  • Maintains electronic charts in BHIS for all patients.
  • Performs clerical duties as required: faxing, light typing, telephone coverage, photocopying, taking and delivering messages, Scheduling.com and front desk maintenance, Co-Pay collection.
  • Performs required clerical duties relating to the intake, transfer and discharge of a patient.
  • Personally responsible for meeting all education and certification requirements.
  • Reads all documents and correspondence. Proofreads previous sessions notes from JAWS to Clinician.
  • Responsible for CMHC database maintainance.
  • Reviews all work for accuracy and compliance with all regulations on a daily basis.
  • Schedules patients appointments and checks for patient arrivals via the Scheduling.com system.
  • Tracks and monitors all assigned open OPD cases for accuracy and to identify cases to be closed.

Qualifications

Required

  • Able to type 55 words per minute.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel (on the job training).
  • Successful completion of all Orientation Programs.
  • High School Diploma

Preferred

  • Bachelor's degree

Job Overview:

+ Handles correspondence and requests for information from doctors, lawyers, insurance providers, SSI, etc.

+ Maintains electronic charts in BHIS for all patients.

+ Performs all other duties as assigned.
