Responsibilities
- Supervises and performs highly diversified duties with respect to production and facility maintenance.
- Supervises installation and replacement of motors, pumps, drives, belts, filters, gears, chains, and valves on process equipment, facility equipment, and fork lifts.
- Oversees troubleshooting of pneumatic, electric, and hydraulic machine problems and makes necessary repairs.
- Oversees repairs to machines involving machine guarding, bolt replacement, and breakdowns due to mechanical wear.
- Assigns team members preventative maintenance tasks on facility equipment.
- Maintain the WWPT facility to operate within parameters safely.
- Provides leadership for Maintenance technicians performing preventative maintenance, equipment installs, parts replacement, equipment troubleshooting, etc.
- Understands the tools and equipment needed to do each job.
- Determines causes of operating errors and possesses ability to tell when something is likely to go wrong before downtime occurs.
- Inspects or tests damaged machine parts and marks defective areas or advises supervisor of needs for repair.
- Keeps record of all work performed.
- Updates maintenance history logs and completes required paperwork.
- Accounts for equipment used for maintenance and repairs.
- Understands and follows the company GMPs policy.
- Understands and follows the company safety rules.
- May be required to work long hours and weekends as needed.
- May assume other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Required
- High School Diploma or equivalent certification
- At least 4 years of industrial maintenance experience
- Strong electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, industrial, PLC experience
- Ability to speak, read, and write English
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient in MS Office applications
- Must be well-organized with good attention to detail
- Display strong work ethic and positive attitude
- Adaptable and dependable with ability to follow direction and work cooperation with others
- Must maintain a helpful and professional attitude and appearance
