Responsibilities

  • Supervises and performs highly diversified duties with respect to production and facility maintenance.
  • Supervises installation and replacement of motors, pumps, drives, belts, filters, gears, chains, and valves on process equipment, facility equipment, and fork lifts.
  • Oversees troubleshooting of pneumatic, electric, and hydraulic machine problems and makes necessary repairs.
  • Oversees repairs to machines involving machine guarding, bolt replacement, and breakdowns due to mechanical wear.
  • Assigns team members preventative maintenance tasks on facility equipment.
  • Maintain the WWPT facility to operate within parameters safely.
  • Provides leadership for Maintenance technicians performing preventative maintenance, equipment installs, parts replacement, equipment troubleshooting, etc.
  • Understands the tools and equipment needed to do each job.
  • Determines causes of operating errors and possesses ability to tell when something is likely to go wrong before downtime occurs.
  • Inspects or tests damaged machine parts and marks defective areas or advises supervisor of needs for repair.
  • Keeps record of all work performed.
  • Updates maintenance history logs and completes required paperwork.
  • Accounts for equipment used for maintenance and repairs.
  • Understands and follows the company GMPs policy.
  • Understands and follows the company safety rules.
  • May be required to work long hours and weekends as needed.
  • May assume other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Required

  • High School Diploma or equivalent certification
  • At least 4 years of industrial maintenance experience
  • Strong electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, industrial, PLC experience
  • Ability to speak, read, and write English
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient in MS Office applications
  • Must be well-organized with good attention to detail
  • Display strong work ethic and positive attitude
  • Adaptable and dependable with ability to follow direction and work cooperation with others
  • Must maintain a helpful and professional attitude and appearance
