The Consulting Product Analyst at HCA Healthcare will provide subject matter expertise to support the Post-Acute Inpatient Rehabilitation portfolio by collaborating with project teams and business partners to meet ITG project objectives. Responsibilities

  • Supports development of new post-acute rehabilitation and skilled nursing care module(s) in HCA Healthcare's various hospital EMR's
  • Collaborates with business owners to determine technology needs and translates those needs into system requirements and design specifications
  • Leads the preparation of system development artifacts such as requirements, analysis, process flow and design system documentation including user guides and system administration procedures
  • Partners with ITG development and QA resources to ensure requirements are successfully fulfilled
  • Learns and applies post-acute care CMS regulatory updates to product design
  • Performs and documents positive/negative functional and unit testing in a standard, methodical manner
  • Leads the enterprise deployment of corporate technology to the post-acute rehabilitation user base through configuration, testing, and training
  • Works closely with each program to ensure software usage optimization
  • Develops and identifies potential operational changes to streamline operations and enhance service delivery
  • Oversees new interface coordination per the deployment schedule and assist with future integration strategies to support the post-acute rehabilitation service line
  • Works closely with enterprise and site users to ensure software usage optimization

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor's Degree - Preferred
  • 7 or more years' experience on increasingly challenging projects in business with a proven delivery track record
  • Demonstrated advance subject matter experience of a service line application
  • A background working with a fast paced, results oriented environment

Preferred

  • Knowledge of business process improvement, workflows, evaluation of processes, business process modeling and data modeling
  • Ability to accomplish IT project assignments, analyzing a number of alternative approaches in the process of advising management on aspects of IT system development, operations and solutions
  • Leadership qualities such as strong written/spoken communication skills, positive attitude, service-based mentality and conflict management
  • Ability to learn, understand, and apply new technologies, methods, and processes
  • Working knowledge of scrum and agile project delivery methodologies
  • Clinical Certification/Licensure Preferred (RN/PT/OT/SLP)

The Consulting Product Analyst will provide subject matter expertise to support HCA Healthcare's Post-Acute Inpatient Rehabilitation portfolio by collaborating with project teams and business partners to meet ITG project objectives. This position will provide leadership to other analysts and technical teams to ensure successful delivery of the Post-Acute Inpatient Rehabilitation product initiatives according to the HCA Healthcare's programmatic objectives.

The successful candidate will have excellent verbal and written communication skills, the ability to establish effective working relationships, and manage multiple priorities. This includes collaborating with and leading other project team members to design functional product details and changes, identify and escalate project issues, and ultimately ensure product requirements are met.

The candidate will provide hands-on expertise to independently resolve service delivery or functionality issues with IT products. They will be expected to frequently communicate with project team members, support resources, other supporting external vendors, and end users. This position requires a strong working knowledge of Post-Acute Rehabilitation and Skilled Nursing resources and standards of practice.

The ideal candidate for this position has an IT product development, integration, and implementation background with well-developed soft-skills. Experience with multiple EMR's is preferred, particularly including Meditech 5.6 and Expanse. Clinical experience with inpatient post-acute settings is also preferred.
