We are seeking a Staff Accountant to join our team in Coppell, Texas.   • Conduct monthly bank and credit card reconciliations.
  • Manage contracts and ensure compliance with industry-specific requirements such as insurance certificates, subcontractor agreements, and bonding requirements.
  • Assist in the creation and management of project budgets, comparing estimates to actual costs to ensure financial efficiency and profitability.
  • Utilize accounting software such as NetSuite, Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP for various accounting tasks.
  • Ensure timely month-end close processes.

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is preferred
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role
  • Proficient in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
  • Experience with Bank Reconciliations
  • Familiarity with General Ledger operations
  • Ability to prepare Journal Entries
  • Experience with Month End Close procedures
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information responsibly
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Proven ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Description We are in search of a Staff Accountant to join our team in Coppell, Texas. The ideal candidate will be responsible for a variety of accounting tasks, including managing Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR), preparing journal entries, and performing bank reconciliations.
