The Facilities Manager at Stryker is responsible for managing the facilities to maintain a safe and compliant work environment that supports the needs of the business. Responsibilities

  • Manage the reception of the facility to ensure adequate customer experience and regulating body compliance
  • Handle personnel moves, office space planning, interior landscaping, reception/telephones and renovation project work
  • Support events including 'There for You', Divisional, Corporate, HR, SLT and as needed
  • Maintain Security system, including badge access, monitoring and updates
  • Manage mail, cleaning, meeting prep, custodial and food supplies for the Stryker location
  • Manage day to day facilities requests
  • Coordinate with landlord for exterior projects and compliance with all lease requirements
  • Engage in problem solving and consensus building in complex situations to implement custom oriented solutions
  • Drive site/divisional projects to continuously improve all areas of team functions
  • Actively manage the performance of team members including writing and delivering performance appraisals and taking disciplinary action when warranted
  • Provide developmental opportunities & guidance for direct reports and ensure cross training
  • Manage facilities budget and ensure delivery to targets
  • Conduct interviews, hire and onboard employees while managing headcount
  • Coach team in work scheduling/ planning, peer appraisals, and team interviewing

Qualifications

Required

  • 8+ years of experience in building maintenance/construction industry
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Demonstrated ability to successfully lead large scale projects or initiatives
  • Demonstrated proficiency in team financial performance and asset management
  • Demonstrated leadership and interpersonal skills, with the proven ability to teach and coach individuals from diverse background with varying language and technical skills

Preferred

  • Project management experience leading teams and using project management tools

**What you will do-**

**What you need-**
