Hello, NOW HIRING, Direct-Hire opportunity. CNC machinist, w/ Setup and Off-set experience. An aluminum Knuckle manufacturer in Pleasant Prairie, WI is in search of a CNC machinist, to perform set-up, tooling adjustments and changes and minor maintenance activities on CNC Equipment and Special built Process Equipment and Gauging. Tooling offsets and M and G code updates are a routine function of this position.

+ Operational knowledge of all machine cells including start-up, product inspection, and operation of equipment.

+ Horizontal and Vertical Milling

+ Perform set-ups, Change outs, Machine tool set-up, edits.

+ CNC recovery, M&G code programming,

+ understanding of CNC codes/programs.

+ Monday - Friday, 2-10pm

Responsibilities

 All duties and responsibilities of a Machine Operator plus the following:

 Operational knowledge of all machine cells including start-up, product inspection,

and operation of peripheral equipment.

 Perform set-up and first piece approval procedure during the first and last hour of

each shift. This is a time when OJT's (On The Job Training Modules) are being

performed and documented.

 Assist in the diagnosis and resolution of Quality issues as they arise and help

determine short term and long-term corrective actions.

 Perform and assist performing maintenance and preventative maintenance activities

on equipment.

The essential functions of this role include:

+ working in a smoke free environment

+ wearing steel toe shoes

+ manual lifting up to 50lbs

+ standing for 8 hours at one time

+ working up to 8 hrs of overtime per week

+ working weekends
