  • Train, mentor, and manage a team of skilled workers, ensuring they adhere to safety and quality standards.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve production issues promptly to minimize downtime.
  • Collaborate with the engineering and quality control teams to ensure product specifications and quality standards are met.
  • Maintain accurate production records and reports.
  • Oversee inventory management for materials used in the front-end processes.
  • Continuously seek opportunities for process improvement and cost reduction.

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in a supervisory role within a foundry or casting manufacturing environment.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and ERP (Epicor preferred).
  • The ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications is a plus.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
