Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of related Human Resources experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years of prior payroll experience.
  • Knowledge of Paycom and/or other Payroll Systems, HCMS and/or HRIS systems and reporting experience.
  • Proficient use of Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel).
  • High attention to detail.
  • Ability to maintain high standards despite pressing deadlines.
  • Ability to work well under pressure, adapt to unexpected events, prioritize and multi-task in a deadline-driven environment.
  • Must be able to prioritize a variety of time-sensitive tasks.
  • Consistently display the highest degree of integrity, professionalism, diplomacy, and discretion.
  • Must be able to develop strong, trusting relationships to gain support and achieve results.
  • Extensive knowledge and practical application of Federal, State, and local laws with a solid understanding of the general body of laws surrounding Human Resources.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

We are currently searching for a Director of Payroll to join our Finance team in our Corporate Office.


Opportunity Details:


  • Responsible for directing all aspects of Payroll management for PAGNY, including the preparation, Documentation and distribution of payroll.
  • Ensures the timely and accurate processing of payrolls, payroll maintenance, and payroll reports.
  • Collaborates with the Assistant Director of Payroll to set the direction for the department with a focus on improved policies, practices and controls and works with other departments to enhance customer support and processing efficiencies.
  • Evaluate current processes, develops and implements operating efficiency improvements.

  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in Business, Accounting, Finance or a related field.
  • 10+ years of related Human Resources experience with a minimum of 5 years of prior payroll experience.
  • Knowledge of Paycom and/or other Payroll Systems, HCMS and/or HRIS systems and reporting experience required.
  • Advanced Payroll certification(s) preferred.
  • Excellent client management and business literacy skills
  • Proficient use of Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel) required.
