Responsibilities

  • Frequently travel to job sites nationwide to monitor project schedules, quality, communication, and execution.
  • Work closely with Senior Project Managers and Construction Project Managers, adhering to their direction to ensure successful project and program delivery.
  • Provide daily reports on project and program status based on field observations and oversight.
  • Effectively communicate with field teams, subcontractors, superintendents, project managers, store management, and occasionally clients to ensure alignment and address any needs for successful project execution.
  • Oversee construction projects across multiple sites from inception to completion.
  • Play a key role in project planning, budgeting, and identifying necessary resources.
  • Ensure construction activities adhere to the pre-determined schedule.
  • Communicate effectively with contractors responsible for various project phases to ensure timely completion.
  • Manage field staff to efficiently execute assigned projects.
  • Regularly monitor construction progress and conduct status meetings with all sub-teams.
  • Maintain strict adherence to budgetary guidelines, quality standards, and safety regulations.
  • Conduct frequent inspections of construction sites to ensure compliance and address any issues.
  • Address and resolve customer inquiries and issues in a timely manner.
  • Identify potential sources of disputes and claims in project design and construction and take appropriate actions.
  • Review and revise quality control processes to meet and exceed customer expectations.
  • Plan and schedule team meetings to review project progress and address any issues.
  • Prepare and submit daily/weekly project status reports to the team of Project Managers and Coordinators.
  • Support and implement change management activities related to project scope adjustments.

Qualifications

Required

  • 2+ years of experience in construction
  • Experience in fast paced remodel, tenant-improvement, multi-site roll out
  • Familiarity with Big-Box Retail, QSR/Fast Casual Restaurants
  • Minimum 2+ years of experience in construction industry and/or experience in carpentry, electrical, paint, plumbing, etc.
  • Ability to manage multiple sites and crews/teams at any given time
  • Good understanding of MEP Building Systems.

About the Role:

Knowledge and Skills Required:
