Senior Scientist

Our client is seeking a driven and collaborative Bio-conjugation Scientist to join their team. The role involves developing and optimizing bio-conjugation processes, purifying and characterizing antibody-drug conjugates, and applying advanced analytical techniques to support drug development. This position provides opportunities for hands-on learning and professional growth in a fast-paced laboratory environment.

Pay: $50-$65/hr

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform bio-conjugations of antibodies with linker-payload combinations using established protocols.
• Utilize and optimize purification methods for biologics, such as size-exclusion chromatography (SEC), hydrophobic interaction chromatography (HIC), and ion-exchange chromatography.
• Gather, analyze, and interpret data from analytical techniques, including liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry (LC/MS).
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to contribute to the discovery and development of novel therapeutics.
• Enhance skills in reaction setup, route design, and optimization through on-the-job training.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or a related field.
• Experience:
• Proven experience in bio-conjugation, purification, and characterization of antibody-drug conjugates.
• Proficiency in analytical techniques such as HIC, reverse phase (RP), SEC, SDS-PAGE, and UV-Vis spectroscopy.
• Strong foundation in protein biochemistry and chemistry.
• Bonus: Experience with biologics analytics and advanced purification techniques.
