Full Job Description
We are currently hiring for a Maintenance Technician in Upper Marlboro, MD.
Immediate Opening!!
Monday to Friday, 8am-4.30pm
On-call coverage required
$20+/hour
Candidates must be skilled in drywall repair, painting, light plumbing, basic electrical, basic carpentry, and flooring; HVAC experience helpful
The position is also responsible for grounds maintenance and snow removal
Must be able to adapt to changing work priorities
Must be self-motivated and enjoy working independently as well as on a team
Must have good communication skills for timely follow-up on work orders with team members
Strong customer service skills required and experience needed to interact with residents, contractors, fellow team members.
Requirements:
ā¢ Minimum 2+ years prior maintenance skills -- drywall repair, painting, light plumbing, basic electrical, flooring, cleaning and general maintenance repair skills; HVAC helpful or will train.
ā¢ Prior apartment or home repair maintenance skills helpful.
