Plastic fabrication/welding job shop serving various industries - Chemical/pharma, textiles, utilities, manufacturing, etc.


Overview:


Day to day, this Production Manager will delegate work to the team of 13 fabricators/welders, work on the floor roughly 80% of the time on their jobs, anything from plastic welding to fabricating to interpreting blueprints & figuring out logistics of space in their facility to complete a job. Additionally, there will be an element of travel involved to install final products. For example, maybe they are making water cooling trays for a semiconductor manufacturer in a different state. This Production Manager will travel with one or two other employees to the customer site to do the final installation & ensure everything is working properly. These trips can be anywhere from 1 day to 2 weeks, just depending on the order specs. Roughly 10% travel.
