  • Work closely with engineering, production, and other departments to address quality concerns and ensure alignment with project requirements.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for customer quality-related inquiries and issues.
  • Maintain accurate records of quality-related activities, including inspections, audits, and corrective actions.
  • Prepare and present quality reports to management.

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3+ years of experience in Quality Engineering within the aerospace manufacturing industry, with at least 1 years in a senior or leadership role.
  • In-depth knowledge of aerospace quality standards (AS9100, ISO9001) and industry best practices.
  • Familiarity with statistical analysis tools, quality control methodologies, and failure analysis techniques.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
  • Proficiency in quality management software and tools (e.g., Minitab, MS Excel).

Preferred

  • Advanced degree or professional certifications (e.g., CQE, CQA).
  • Certification as a Quality Engineer (CQE) or similar.

Full Job Description

A large-scale company that manufactures Aerospace and Defense devices is seeking a Sr. Quality Engineer. The role will ensure that products meet standards and minimize costs. Ensure procedures and processes are followed and comply with safety regulations and quality requirements. This role is in Branford, CT and 5 days on site.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Quality Assurance Leadership: Develop and implement quality assurance policies, procedures, and standards to ensure compliance with aerospace industry regulations and customer requirements.
