Responsibilities

  • Drive the creation and continuous improvement of customer-facing interactive web applications.
  • Collaborate closely with API teams and other departments to ensure seamless integration and optimal functionality of web applications.
  • Collaborate with Product and UI/UX to realize designs and workflows.
  • Oversee the entire lifecycle of web applications, from initial development to deployment and ongoing monitoring of production services.
  • Foster a culture of innovation, best practices, and continuous learning within your team.
  • Balance technical leadership with hands-on development to ensure project success and team growth.
  • Implement and maintain high standards for code quality, performance, and user experience.
  • Ensure compliance with FDA regulations for medical software, including overseeing documentation, quality assurance processes, and adherence to regulatory standards in web application development.

Qualifications

Required

  • Minimum Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as Engineering, Computer Science, or related discipline, or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of relevant industry experience in a software company, with a focus on web application development.
  • 1+ years of experience in a technical leadership or management role.
  • Strong proficiency in modern front-end technologies (e.g., JavaScript, React, Angular, or Vue.js).
  • Demonstrated experience in building and deploying large-scale, customer-facing web applications.
  • Experience with Agile development methodologies and project management tools.
  • Strong understanding of web security best practices.
  • Experience with DevOps best practices (e.g., CI/CD pipelines).
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
  • Experience with or willingness to learn about FDA regulations and compliance requirements for medical software.

Preferred

  • Hands-on experience with Vue.js and its ecosystem.
  • Proficiency in AWS services.
  • Previous experience working with FDA-regulated products or in another highly regulated industry.
  • Familiarity with medical imaging products or healthcare technologies.
  • Track record of successful cross-functional collaboration, particularly with product management and design teams.
