If you're excited by the challenge of combining advanced web technologies to improve heart health worldwide, we want to hear from you. #LI-IB1; #LI-RemoteJob DescriptionRecruit, coach, supervise, and technically guide a team of engineers to develop innovative solutions that enhance HeartFlow's technology and productsDrive the creation and continuous improvement of customer-facing interactive web applicationsCollaborate closely with API teams and other departments to ensure seamless integration and optimal functionality of web applicationsCollaborate with Product and UI/UX to realize designs and workflowsOversee the entire lifecycle of web applications, from initial development to deployment and ongoing monitoring of production servicesFoster a culture of innovation, best practices, and continuous learning within your teamBalance technical leadership with hands-on development to ensure project success and team growthImplement and maintain high standards for code quality, performance, and user experienceEnsure compliance with FDA regulations for medical software, including overseeing documentation, quality assurance processes, and adherence to regulatory standards in web application developmentRequired Qualifications Minimum Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as Engineering, Computer Science, or related discipline, or equivalent experience.5+ years of relevant industry experience in a software company, with a focus on web application development1+ years of experience in a technical leadership or management roleStrong proficiency in modern front-end technologies (e.g., JavaScript, React, Angular, or Vue.js)Demonstrated experience in building and deploying large-scale, customer-facing web applicationsExperience with Agile development methodologies and project management toolsStrong understanding of web security best practices Experience with DevOps best practices (e.g., CI/CD pipelines)Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environmentExperience with or willingness to learn about FDA regulations and compliance requirements for medical softwareHow you stand out Hands-on experience with Vue.js and its ecosystemProficiency in AWS servicesPrevious experience working with FDA-regulated products or in another highly regulated industryFamiliarity with medical imaging products or healthcare technologiesTrack record of successful cross-functional collaboration, particularly with product management and design teamsA reasonable estimate of the base salary compensation range is $141,000 to $215,025 (for all locations outside San Francisco Bay Area) and $159,000 to $242,475 (for San Francisco Bay Area), cash bonus, and stock options.HeartFlow, Inc. is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
