  • Assists in providing reports, documentation and analysis for annual external financial audit.
  • Prepares general ledger entries by maintaining records and files, including the accurate and thorough input of bills, invoices, and other accounting entries.
  • Transactional level entries and oversight of AP/AR and other accounting JE transactions on a daily and weekly basis.
  • Ensures GAAP and covenant compliance.
  • Completes special projects as requested by the CFO and Controller.

Qualifications

Acacia Health is looking to fill the newly created position of Staff Accountant, reporting to the Controller. Acacia has grown to a size where the management of the finance and accounting functions need to be upgraded and expanded.

  • Performs accounting tasks such as accrual entries, amortizations, multiple account reconciliations, and month-end close, as well as routine AP and AR tasks, initially at the core existing companies. Acacia is targeting acquiring of up to three medium sized companies each year, after the first 6 months.
  • Assists in preparing consolidated and multi-state branch level financial statements for internal and external audiences, including balance sheets, cash statements, profit & loss statements, and forecast variance analyses. Accounting was recently migrated from QuickBooks to NetSuite ERP.
  • Assists in providing reports, documentation and analysis for annual external financial audit.
  • Prepares general ledger entries by maintaining records and files, including the accurate and thorough input of bills, invoices, and other accounting entries.
  • Transactional level entries and oversight of AP/AR and other accounting JE transactions on a daily and weekly basis
  • Ensures GAAP and covenant compliance.
