Robert Half is seeking an Accounting Manager to oversee the accounting department, including the monthly accounting close and financial reporting for the entire company. - Participate in the ongoing development/establishment of accounting policies and procedures and operational strategies.
- Assists Controller in coordinating the annual budget process.
- Make recommendations for changes as needed and ensure that company policies and procedures are followed and establishes the proper techniques to discover and prevent fraud through highly structured internal controls.
- Cash forecasting.
- Process automation for scalability.
- Other duties as needed.
Qualifications
Required
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Accounting, Finance or related field of study.
- 7+ years professional experience working in an accounting role requiring use and knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- 4+ years of management experience.
- Public accounting experience.
- Strong and demonstrated working knowledge of GAAP and accounting skills.
- Highly analytical and ability to evaluate complex accounting and financial data with limited supervision.
- Self-motivated and proactive team player who works independently and takes ownership of and accountability for assigned tasks.
- Excellent time management and ability to manage multiple deadlines simultaneously.
- Highly detail oriented.
Preferred
- Experience working in healthcare setting, ideally with IPA or Medical Group.
- CPA.

Robert Half is in search for an Accounting Manager. The Accounting Manager position manages the accounting department. The position is responsible for the monthly accounting close and financial reporting for the entire company which includes several entities.
