Responsibilities

  • Develops and recommends improvements to promote efficiency, faster service, and lower costs.
  • Examines invoices and shipping documents to ensure accordance with federal regulations.
  • May recommend procedural changes to improve efficiency of operations.
  • Ensures goods are verified against records of shipment.
  • Accurately records received and shipped items according to established procedures.
  • Responsible for inspection, identification, and delivery to stocking locations.
  • Follows established procedures and guidelines to receive, handle, store, record, and dispatch goods in a store or warehouse.
  • Performs all work in accordance with established safety standards and adheres to all safety policies, rules, regulations and procedures.
  • Participates or leads associate meetings and communicates any concerns to management.

Qualifications

Required

  • 3+ years quality assurance experience.
  • Experience in a management or supervisory role.
  • Experience with payroll systems is preferred.
  • Hazardous materials certification or willingness to obtain as a condition of employment.
  • Experience working in pipe yards, with Heat Numbers, MERI's, and MTR's is strongly preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office: Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook.
  • Continued focus on improving system efficiencies and business practices.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to prioritize workload appropriately.

Ferguson is now seeking a Quality Assurance Supervisor to join our team!

**Schedule: Monday through Friday 9AM to 5:30PM**

**Position Details:**

+ Reports to the Warehouse Manager.

+ Direct oversight of 5 to 8 associates.
