Responsibilities

  • Learn and perform tasks associated with maintenance and repair of fracturing equipment.
  • Perform pre/post job inspections of frac equipment.
  • Prepare shipping papers and documentation for transfer of inventory.
  • Maintain accurate inventory of maintenance trailers.
  • Monitor and operate pumping equipment during well stimulation job.
  • Gauge fluids on all frac equipment.
  • Prepare, maintain, and repair pumping and support equipment.
  • Work with crew to ensure they have parts needed to complete maintenance.
  • Conduct work observations of JSA safe work procedures and document them as they pertain to maintenance procedures.
  • Complete work orders and other paperwork as required.
  • Ensure good housekeeping standards are met at all times
  • Perform proper oil sampling, post failure strategies and root cause investigations
  • Conduct work in accordance with safety rules, standard operating procedures, and workplace instructions.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Required

  • Heavy Equipment Technician certification.
  • Dual certifications preferred
  • Able to successfully pass a pre-employment medical and drug test
  • 3 years relevant industry experience
  • Effective interpersonal skills (spoken and written English communication)
  • High school diploma, GED or equivalent
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Outlook
  • Valid Driver's License and clean motor vehicle record

Preferred

  • Excellent ability to think quickly and make effective decisions in high pressure situations
  • Strong leadership and customer service skills
  • Mechanical knowledge of hydraulics components, circuits, and diagnoses utilizing schematics
  • Understanding of ISO standards in regards to oil sampling and report reading
  • Able to focus on root cause fact finding
  • Able to build and execute on a post failure strategy
  • Ability to diagnose and repair electrical circuits with aid of Electrical Dept
  • Ability to work in a team environment with interpersonal communication skills both written and oral
  • Strong ability to organize daily tasks and work within defined timelines
  • Proven ability to perform confidently, accurately, professionally and thoroughly in a fast paced detail oriented environment
  • Able to respond quickly and professionally to Field Operations observations and recommendations on safety and maintenance issues

Field Mechanic position
The person in this position learns and performs tasks associated with maintenance and repair of fracturing equipment by performing the following duties.
**ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:**
The following duties and responsibilities are all essential job functions, as defined by the ADA, except for those that begin with the word "May."
General mechanical skill set with areas to improve on or learn.
Basic understanding of Evolution equipment and operation still requiring assistance with troubleshooting from Lead Mechanic to complete some tasks.
Requires direction and guidance from superior or colleague.
Learns all the disciplines of rigging up equipment on location.
Performs pre/post job inspections of frac equipment.
Prepares shipping papers and documentation for transfer of inventory.
Maintains accurate inventory of maintenance trailers.
Monitors and operates pumping equipment during well stimulation job.
Gauges fluids on all frac equipment.
