Associate Attorney

A well-established law firm, is seeking an attorney with 3-5 years of experience to join their Medical Malpractice team in their Uniondale office. This firm represents physicians, healthcare providers, hospitals, and other medical facilities in all aspects of Medical Malpractice litigation. The position offers a hybrid work model, requiring the candidate to work remotely 50% of the time. The ideal candidate will be highly motivated, proactive, and possess excellent writing skills, as well as the ability to work independently and confidently engage with clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with senior attorneys to develop and implement defense strategies in medical malpractice cases
• Prepare and review legal documents, including pleadings, discovery, memos, and briefs
• Analyze medical records and provide case assessments
• Represent clients in court proceedings
• Participate in depositions, hearings, conferences, and other litigation-related activities
• Engage with medical experts to support case preparation
• Conduct legal and medical research to support case arguments
• Draft motions and related legal filings
• Work collaboratively with team members and interact regularly with clients

Qualifications:

• Licensed to practice law in New York
• At least 3 years of experience in medical malpractice or healthcare litigation
