  • Oversee contracts to ensure timely delivery and adherence to project scope.
  • Ensure that all construction activities comply with automotive industry standards, local building codes, environmental regulations, and safety requirements.
  • Conduct regular inspections to maintain quality assurance throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Implement and enforce strict safety protocols across all construction sites.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact between construction teams and internal departments, including manufacturing engineering and plant operations.

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in construction management, Civil Engineering, or a related field is required.
  • 7+ years of construction management experience, with a proven track record in large-scale manufacturing facilities, ideally in the automotive sector.
  • Experience with EV battery technology in the automotive industry, including any projects related to battery design, manufacturing, or integration into electric vehicles preferred.
  • Ability to travel frequently across the U.S. to manage various high-profile construction projects.
  • Expertise in construction methodologies, materials, and equipment used in automotive manufacturing plant construction.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools such as MS Project, AutoCAD, and BIM (Building Information Modeling).
  • Demonstrated ability to lead large teams and manage contractors in a high-stakes, fast-paced environment.
  • Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills to handle complex project logistics.

Preferred

  • Masters degree in Construction Management or Engineering preferred

Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Construction Manager with a specialized focus on automotive manufacturing plant development.
