Responsibilities

  • Ensure the company’s QMS is fully compliant with ISO 9001 standards.
  • Maintain and continuously improve the QMS documentation, processes, and records.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance protocols, inspection processes, and testing procedures.
  • Plan, conduct, and oversee internal and external audits to ensure compliance with ISO 9001/ISO 14001 and other relevant standards.
  • Identify areas for improvement within the manufacturing processes and lead initiatives to reduce waste, improve efficiency, and enhance product quality.
  • Lead and mentor the quality assurance team.
  • Monitor customer feedback and complaints, analyze root causes, and implement corrective actions.
  • Develop and deliver training programs to staff on quality standards and best practices.
  • Collaborate with procurement and supply chain teams to ensure that suppliers meet the company’s quality standards.
  • Maintain accurate records of quality control activities, audit results, and non-conformance issues.
  • Ensure that all products and processes comply with relevant regulatory requirements and standards.

Qualifications

Required

  • Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 and familiarity with ISO 14001 standards.
  • Experience with auditing and compliance in an ISO 9001 certified company.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience managing and developing a team.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in quality management software and tools.
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, quality management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a quality management role within a manufacturing environment.

Preferred

  • ASQC certification.

POSITION SUMMARY

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

  • ISO 9001 Compliance: Ensure the company’s QMS is fully compliant with ISO 9001 standards. Maintain and continuously improve the QMS documentation, processes, and records.
  • Quality Assurance: Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance protocols, inspection processes, and testing procedures to ensure that products meet or exceed customer requirements and industry standards.
  • Audits: Plan, conduct, and oversee internal and external audits to ensure compliance with ISO 9001/ISO 14001 and other relevant standards. Prepare for and facilitate third-party audits.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify areas for improvement within the manufacturing processes, and lead initiatives to reduce waste, improve efficiency, and enhance product quality. Implement lean manufacturing practices where applicable.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and mentor the quality assurance team, providing guidance and support to ensure that all team members are effectively contributing to the company’s quality objectives.
  • Customer Satisfaction: Monitor customer feedback and complaints, analyze root causes, and implement corrective actions to enhance product quality and customer satisfaction.
  • Training: Develop and deliver training programs to staff on quality standards, procedures, and best practices.
  • Supplier Quality Management: Collaborate with procurement and supply chain teams to ensure that suppliers meet the company’s quality standards. Conduct supplier audits as needed.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of quality control activities, audit results, and non-conformance issues. Prepare and present quality reports to senior management.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that all products and processes comply with relevant regulatory requirements and standards.


SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND ABILITIES

  • Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 and familiarity with ISO 14001 standards. ASQC certification is a plus.
