  • Bachelor's degree in food science, food technology, food engineering, or a related field preferred
  • Strong understanding of food science principles, including food chemistry, microbiology, food processing techniques, food preservation methods, and food safety regulations
  • Proficiency in laboratory techniques and practices
  • Strong technical skills, including proficiency in data analysis, statistical analysis software, CAD software for product development, and familiarity with food processing equipment
  • Stay updated with the latest advancements and trends in the food industry

Are you ready to build your career by joining an international food and beverage company? If so, our client is hiring a R&D Technician!

What You'll Do:
  • Support scientists in testing new ingredients and beverage models.
  • Accurately prepare samples.
  • Submit samples for analytical or sensory testing.
  • Thoroughly document experimental details.
  • Accurately entry data and analyze results.
  • Support production runs in technical center pilot plant.
  • Maintain and document laboratory inventory.
  • Capable of performing all activities in a safe manner and within the context of safety protocols.
  • Capable of working in the lab under GLP/GMP practices.
  • Maintain a safe, clean and organized laboratory environment.
  • Ability to manage multiple project tasks to support the individuals of the workgroup, manage time and expectations for group needs. Effectively communicate conflict of requests.
What You Bring:
Required Skills:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Food Technology, or related field.
  • Laboratory bench work experience in school or at a consumer goods company. (Experience in food and beverage industry is a plus).
  • Familiarity with lab analytical instruments and beverage processing equipment.
  • Good organizational skills.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Proactive, reliable and self-motivated.
  • Computer Skills: MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and Outlook (email/calendar).
