Job Title: Mechanical Engineer - Autonomous Vehicle Support

Job Summary: Epitec is seeking a motivated and skilled individual to join our team as a Contingent Worker supporting our Autonomous Vehicle projects. The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of light mechanical experience and hold a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering (BSME). This role involves hands-on work with cutting-edge autonomous vehicle technology, contributing to the development and maintenance of our innovative automotive solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the assembly, testing, and maintenance of autonomous vehicle systems.
• Perform light mechanical tasks, including installation, troubleshooting, and repair of vehicle components.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to support the integration of new technologies into autonomous vehicles.
• Conduct routine inspections and diagnostics to ensure optimal performance of autonomous systems.
• Document and report findings, issues, and improvements to senior engineers and project managers.
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering (BSME) or related field.
• 1-3 years of experience in light mechanical work, preferably in the automotive industry.
• Basic understanding of autonomous vehicle technology and systems.
• Proficiency in using mechanical tools and diagnostic equipment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

Preferred Skills:
