  • Review creative components to ensure specifications match pricing and estimates, coordinate with printers on art releases and routing proofs.
  • Confirm delivery dates for all materials and maintain updated project checklists.
  • Evaluate and select postage options to minimize costs and delivery times while meeting client goals.
  • Travel 2-4 times per year for press checks and/or tours at service provider facilities.

Qualifications

Required

  • Advanced degree or relevant work experience; certifications are a plus.
  • Must reside in the contiguous United States.
  • 3-5 years direct mail production experience.

Full Job Description

Nexus Direct, an established direct marketing agency located in Virginia, is seeking an experienced Direct Mail Production Manager to join our dynamic production team. This is a 100% remote position, with some travel required.


The ideal Candidate must have experience buying print and lettershop services, managing key supplier relationships, and managing complex and detailed projects on a tight schedule. Responsible for overseeing and coordinating the flow of multiple direct mail projects on an ongoing basis, from planning and scheduling to completion, this person will be responsible for ensuring all projects are completed within budget and on time. This role requires developing strong service provider relationships, managing project schedules, and collaborating closely with internal teams such as Client Services, Creative Services, Quality Assurance, and Data Services.
