We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Technical Sales Engineering Trainer to bridge the gap between engineering and sales teams in the medical device industry. Responsibilities

  • Train engineers to translate complex technical concepts into clear, actionable insights for non-technical audiences, including customers and sales teams.
  • Develop deep expertise in medical devices and related technologies, keeping training materials up to date with new advancements and regulatory changes.
  • Prepare engineers to accompany sales reps in client meetings, providing technical demonstrations and support during product presentations.
  • Gather feedback from engineers and sales reps to continuously improve training content and delivery methods.
  • Ensure engineers are well-versed in industry standards (FDA, ISO 13485, etc.) and can communicate how regulatory compliance enhances product reliability and safety.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive training guides, resources, and assessments to track progress and ensure retention of key concepts.
  • Act as a mentor to engineers, supporting their growth in customer-facing roles and their ability to contribute to the sales process.

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, biomedical engineering, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
  • 5+ years of experience in the medical device industry, with hands-on experience in engineering and/or sales support.
  • Proven track record in developing and delivering technical training programs.
  • Strong knowledge of medical device regulations, product development lifecycle, and quality management systems.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and build strong relationships with both engineering and sales teams.

Preferred

  • Experience in instructional design and training evaluation methods.
