Our client, an investment management company in Dallas, is seeking a full-time Payroll & Benefits Specialist to join their team. Responsibilities

  • Verify timecards are properly completed and approved by managers.
  • Process Bi-Weekly and Monthly Payroll.
  • Process all levies and garnishments.
  • Verify all benefit platforms have been updated and reconcile benefit deductions between payroll system and benefit platform.
  • Reconcile and process all benefit related invoices.
  • Register and maintain correspondence for taxing authority in all states.
  • Monitor and validate employee tax information and verify compliance with federal, state and local payroll laws.
  • Review and maintain quarterly 941 report files.
  • Run and maintain all payroll reports/files.
  • Post all payroll and benefit general ledger entries.
  • Reconcile all payroll related general ledger accounts.
  • Address Employee correspondence regarding payroll.

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, or relevant years of work experience
  • Payroll Certification is a plus, but not a requirement
  • Minimum of 3-5 years payroll processing experience
  • Experience with a large payroll platform
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Trustworthy, reliable, analytical, and organized
  • Intermediate working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite programs
