  • Implement process improvement initiatives to decrease lead time and improve on-time delivery to customers
  • Develop and ensure accuracy of raw material and finished goods inventory reports
  • Confirm accurate stock levels of all raw materials & packaging components are in place before adding to production schedule
  • Anticipate planning based on customer prior year purchases & current stock levels
  • Communicate with customers regarding forecast demand reviews, lead time on finished goods, etc.
  • Resolve supply-demand issues and complaints
  • Collect data, perform analyses, and report findings to the leadership team
  • Implement continuous improvement methods (Six Sigma, Lean, etc.) in manufacturing and distribution
  • Play a key role in implementation of new processes, technology, and products

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor Degree in Business, Operations, Supply Chain Management or related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of production scheduling and/or material planning experience within a manufacturing setting
  • Experience with sales and operations planning
  • Experience with data mining, analytics, and reporting
  • Intermediate or advanced skills using Excel
  • Self-motivated and results-driven
  • Natural problem-solver with excellent communication skills
  • Working knowledge of value streams, cost drivers, and core components of cost structures

The compensation is commensurate to experience and will range between $120,000-130,000 per year and includes affordable medical insurance plans, Paid Time Off, and a 401K plan with company match.
