  • Defining and completing test strategies, scenarios, and steps for automated and functional testing
  • Managing the execution of all QA work throughout the agile process
  • Collaborating with development teams to develop valid test approaches and scenarios
  • Working with new technologies to solve test challenges and process improvements
  • Executing manual and/or automated test scripts for multiple or complex projects
  • Leading test script reviews and mentoring QA / Squad members on test tools and technologies

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field
  • Amplitude to understand complex business processes
  • Strong hands-on experience with crafting and maintaining testing frameworks like Selenium, PlayWright
  • Understanding of a programming language such as Java or Javascript
  • Understanding of web services testing and familiarity with RestAssured is preferred
  • Good understanding of Jenkins as CI Tool and configuration
  • Experience working in an Agile environment
  • Experience with testing application built on low-code platform like Microsoft PowerApps
  • Experience with RESTful APIs, and API testing tools and technologies such as Selenium
  • Knowledge of SQL and ability to validate and test data integrity
  • Experience with JIRA, GitHub, Jenkins pipeline
  • Able to perform many roles within the agile squad from development to QA to systems analysis in order drive sprint deliverables to completion
  • Able to learn large software systems end-to-end quickly, and has keen attention to detail
  • Able to work with other team members in a distributed team environment, and willing to mentor others

The Role

Fidelity Corporate Technology Group is looking for a Sr. Software Engineer with strong software development and test automation skills. As a Sr. Software Engineer, you will design, develop, test, deploy, maintain test automation frameworks and solutions that will improve the robustness, stability and reliability of our applications.

The Expertise You Have

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field
